About 100 qualified jobs will be created by HAITEC, a company providing technical maintenance and overhaul of airplanes. The new division “VIP Maintenance”, which specializes in the maintenance of luxury airplanes from Bombardier, CitationJet, Dassault, Gulfstream and others, will be located in Erfurt.
“We are very pleased that we have jointly succeeded in convincing HAITEC of the advantages and excellent conditions of Thuringia,” said Thuringian Minister of Economics, Uwe Höhn. “The project is further evidence of Thuringia’s strong attraction as an investment location.” In total, HAITEC - headquartered at the Airport Hahn in Rhineland-Palatinate - will invest EUR 3 million in its new facilities in Erfurt of which Thuringia provides EUR 1.2 million in subsidies.
