Object

(a) the production and supply of raw water for the treatment of drinking water and of process water through the design, construction, operation and maintenance of dams with the associated transfer systems and installations functionally related to them; (b) purchase of raw and drinking water, treatment of raw water into drinking water for public water supply, including intermediate storage and delivery to these customers; (c) planning; construction, operation and maintenance of installations for the transport and transfer of raw water as well as installations for the treatment, storage and transport of drinking water with the necessary auxiliary installations including connection shafts and water transfer points, d) Control of natural water runoff through the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of dams and the associated transfer systems to achieve discharge reductions (flood protection) or discharge increases (low water elevation) as well as installations that are functionally related to them, e) maintenance and dismantling of dams which do not or no longer serve or have served the provision of raw or industrial water or the regulation of natural water runoff, as well as these dams are included in the annex of the Thuringian Act on Long-Distance Water Supply (and also in Annex 2 of the submitted statutes), f) promotion of agricultural tasks and the objectives of nature conservation and land management, which are spatially related to the dams, including their abandonment or dismantling, g) maintenance of surface stretches of water that are functionally related to the dams of TFW, h) use of the hydropower potential existing through the construction and operation of TFW facilities, i) assumption of planning services, Construction, operation and maintenance of dams of other operators, j) inspection and monitoring of dams of other operators, insofar as the institution is commissioned by the state to do so, k) business and operational management of dams and facilities for drinking water supply, l) management of the dam and hydrology archive for the state.
