- The "Thuringian Innovation Centre Mobility" (ThIMo), founded in 2011 at the TU Ilmenau, is an interdisciplinary and internationally positioned science and development centre that is equally science-oriented and business-oriented. It concentrates on the solution of urgent scientific tasks of mobility development. The light, environmentally friendly, intelligent, digitised and complex networked mobility system is the focus of research. - The centre maintains cooperative relationships with more than 200 international and national partners from industry and science. These can not only draw on the latest experimental equipment, outstanding research and educational know-how, but also on numerous international research contacts.
