• Founded in 1995 as an associate institute of the Technical University of Ilmenau/extracurricular research institute of the Free State of Thuringia.
The IMMS accompanies SMEs and industrial partners in their entire research and development process from the idea to the design of components and assemblies to the embedded system including system integration, prototype construction and transfer to series production as well as production transition.
• The range of services for research partners includes application-orientated and basic research cooperation projects as well as research-related development services from feasibility studies to hardware/software component and system design to the development, manufacture and measurement of functional prototypes.
