- Opening of the Project Centre in Oct. 2018. – The Fraunhofer IPMS includes four locations in Dresden, Erfurt and Cottbus: Headquarters »Photonic Microsystems« (Dresden) Business field »Center Nanoelectronic Technologies« (Dresden) Institute »Integrated Silicon Systems« (Cottbus) Project Centre »Microelectronic and Optical Systems for Biomedicine« (Erfurt) – Headquarters of the Fraunhofer IPMS: Maria-Reiche-Str. 2, 01109 Dresden. – Three Fraunhofer Institutes - the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems IPMS, the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF and the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI – carry out joint research in the Project Centre Erfurt and in close cooperation with the industry, inter alia with respect to new biomedical applications.
